Wrecking BREXIT

excavator-6669780_128_20250208-161700_1 Demolishing Opportunity

What's the best way to destroy a project? The simple answer is to put a person or persons in charge who hate and are totally opposed to that project—that way failure is assured.

From the 1st February 2020, the very first day Britain was officially set free from the EU's bureaucratic clutches, there were claims that Brexit was not working even before it had a chance to get under way. As one of the majority who campaigned and voted for Brexit I despair that those whose job it is to make Brexit work - hate it. and are systematically doing everything to destroy Brexit. Both politicians and the Civil Service are doing everything within their devious powers to ensure Brexit fails and are happily crowing that Brexit is not working and they were right all along, despite the fact they are the ones responsible for making it fail and conveniently forget to inform the Brexit voting public the very reason it is failing is down to them deliberately sabotaging it.

Ever since the 2016 vote to leave the EU, influential remainers have set about wrecking our democratic decision to leave from both before the referendum and from the day after, they did their worst to strangle Brexit at birth.

First, before any negotiations on leaving had begun they tried to destroy Brexit in both Parliament and the courts, then after we finally left with not the best deal in 2020, thanks to Theresa May caving in to EU bullying and the fact as a remainer her heart was never in it, plus those who were given the job to ensure Britain's new place in the world as a free trading sovereign democracy was successful, have sadly done their underhand best to undermine our newly won freedom and independence. Boris Johnson, who finally got Brexit done, by the time he took over, already had a bad hand to play due to May's failure to stand up to the EU bully boys, hence us leaving with many problems still to be resolved such as the poor deal done for Northern Ireland and fishing.

As far as Brexit is concerned, it is the best thing to have happened since our victory in World War Two, in reality the people who voted for Brexit were instinctively right and set Britain free as well as restoring our national sovereignty and democracy. Sadly, the problem lies with those implementing it and are currently systematically wrecking it whilst gloating they were right all along.

I voted leave to regain our long lost sovereignty, I was born in a free self governing nation and would like to die in a nation that has pride in itself, its history and is self governing. If this appalling Government drags us back into the EU it will be on the EU's draconian terms. Unlike when we were members in the days before we escaped the EU, we will have no opt outs and under its terms of re-membership we will have to scrap our pound sterling to be replaced with the EU's problematic euro, along with its exchange and interest rates which will do great harm to our economy. We will be saddled with and be part of Schengen and our borders will be open to all, bureaucracy will go into overdrive and within a few politically agonising years Britain will no longer exist. For the remainers this will be wonderful and they will say how clever they were when wrecking Brexit.
