Karan will graduate from William and Mary, Virginia, USA in August 2020 with a major in Government. He graduated from The International School Bangalore, India with an International Baccalaureate diploma.

Karan’s chief passion has long been for American and global politics. He believes in a philosophy of limited government and individual liberty with his political idols ranging from Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher to Calvin Coolidge.

Karan was an e-intern at Air Combat Command, Virginia, from August 2019 to May 2020, at TRADOC (US Army Training and Doctrine Command), Virginia, in Spring 2019 and a summer intern at U.S. Department of State, Washington D.C. in 2019.

Karan is a history buff, enjoys traveling, reading, tennis and writing papers on political issues. He has travelled in the US, Canada, Asia, Africa and Europe. He is currently a member of College Republicans on campus and Alpha Lambda Delta & Phi Eta Sigma First-Year Student Honor Societies.
