There is no scientific evidence to support the insane rush to Net Zero. So far from CO2 being a pollutant it is - through photosynthesis - the source of all our oxygen and our food. Instead of punishing those who emit CO2 we should encourage them. We are in an era of CO2 famine. It is the single most potent agent for relief of hunger.Eco Socialism has seized the genuine and many concerns humans have felt as to the impacts of industrialization on the natural world. It has ceased to be a wide ranging concern for our precious natural environment. It has become a single issue assault on the open market industrial economy deemed responsible for catastrophic global warming and on the liberal democracies said to be powerless to prevent it. It has a hideous mask of virtue. China meanwhile watches with inscrutable and mounting satisfaction as we sink ever more deeply in the mire of delusion.
