Rt Hon. Owen Paterson MP is a Conservative Party politician who was the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs from 2012 until 2014. In 2010 he was appointed to the Cabinet as Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, where he remained until he moved to the Department for Energy Food and Rural Affairs in 2012. He has been the Member of Parliament for North Shropshire since 1997. Paterson is a supporter of the Royal Irish Regiment, which has been based in his constituency. In 2014 he established and became the Chairman of UK 2020, a centre-right think tank based in Westminster.

 

John Mills is a British entrepreneur, economist and businessman, best known for founding UK-based consumer products company JML, of which he is the Chairman. JML are one of the fastest growing companies in the UK and has has extensive trading relations with much of the world. John is the largest donor to the Labour Party. He is also the Secretary of the Labour Euro-Safeguards Campaign and was a Co-Chairman of Vote Leave and played a pivotal role in securing a referendum and winning the vote to leave the EU. John Mills is the author of Europe’s Economic Dilemma.

 

Barry Legg, representing the seat of Milton Keynes South West, was a key organiser in Parliament against the Maastricht Treaty. And subsequently became Chairman of the Treasury Select Committee. Prior to entering the House of Commons Barry was an Executive Director at Hilsdown Holdings plc, one of Britain’s top 100 companies. Barry Legg is the Chairman of the Bruges Group.
