Of Pearls and Cowards

geralt-terrorist-2481808_1280 Terrorist States

The fanatical Iranian regime has been a threat to world peace for decades. Apart from murdering its own people it has exported and funded terrorism throughout the world. As with all fanatical religious and political movements it sees itself as the sole arbiter of people's thoughts and lives. To not believe or disobey is met by incarceration or death.

The reason this death cult was not dealt with, highlights democracies basic flaw. By its nature, it finds it difficult to defend itself. Socialism and Militant Religion, both fanatical belief systems, cannot exist in a democracy. They should be banned, but that's not democratic.

Labour imported voters from places that had little understanding of democracy and less interest in learning about it. Labour and the Conservatives have made no effort to integrate these people. In a society at last free of religious control, they have encouraged a cult to flourish. Like Bloody Mary or Cromwell's Christianity, militant Islam, shares with Socialism a conviction that they alone have the right to impose their beliefs and laws on us all.

Socialism has always been exploitative, seeking to turn any situation to its advantage. Those shocked by hard left support for the Iranian regime should not be.

Starmer, like most Labour MPs is a Fabian Marxist intent on the destruction of democracy and the creation of a Socialist Commonwealth that would rise from its ashes. He is not clutching his pearls nor waving a law book. It is going to plan. A plan that has successfully infiltrated all sections of society, from teaching to Law. It was not surprising to discover that Andrew Bailey the Governor of the Bank of England who sabotaged Liz Truss was a Fabian activist.

The world should have acted years ago to remove the Iranian terror regime. Israel had no choice. Faced with the possibility of a nuclear armed terror state that would undoubtedly view the total annihilation of Israel as God's purpose. They had to act.

Apart from the US Jewish lobby, the USA's involvement is to an extent unclear. Trump has loudly proclaimed that US interests are Pacific and Continental America. The rest, he claimed as he sought to abandon Ukraine to Russia, could go hang. His Venezuelan deal involved the regime handing over its two leaders and paying Dane Geld (or making a deal as Trump would have it). The regime continues and Trump is congratulated. Why? Are the people better off? Are bombs raining down on Iran because the Mullahs refused to make a deal?

Putin rules a nuclear armed terrorist state that has no regard for human life or borders. Presently it is Russia that poses the existential threat to freedom and democracy. Trump's partiality for Russia is again obvious as he lifts sanctions on Russian oil citing shortages caused by the war with Iran. Trump's support of Putin and his evil regime is not in the interests of the US. Why does he support it? Go figure! It is vital that the rest of the free world comes together and supports Ukraine. Putin cannot be allowed to win despite Trump's support.

Here in the UK, we have questions. Perhaps the first ought to be why democracy so rarely produces the leaders it needs. Since 1945, except for Margaret Thatcher, we have been ruled by politicians who have failed us. They have pursued political projects that have failed. Supported a European nightmare that robbed us of our sovereignty. Their neglect of our defence has left us almost defenceless. A once great nation brought low by those elected to defend it. We are in a mess caused by the main parties and only a revolution at the ballot box can fix it.

The current American rhetoric, is in a historical sense absurd, risible even. In a way it is odd that the old saying "What goes around comes around" should find new expression in the (non) action of a Marxist Lawyer. Like Starmer, the USA whined about neutrality, law and not upsetting its various ethnic minority voter bases while it sat out world war's one and two.

In the case of the first, the USA's vital commercial interests were involved. Not until its citizens were killed because it failed to protect them did it join the fight. The second is a story of shame. It was obvious that fascism posed an existential threat to peace, freedom and democracy. The US knew perfectly well that the Japanese were butchering hundreds of thousands of people. They knew that Hitler was intent on the extermination of the Jews and the creation of a Super Power to dominate the world. Of course, 1930s USA was a different place. Anti-Semitism was normal. Many apartment buildings specified No Blacks or Jews. As Orwell predicted there is a busy rewriting of history. But, history exists and tells the truth for those who wish to see it.

The USA became rich and powerful by cravenly refusing to have any principles other than making money out of misery. Starmer is clutching his pearls because he's true to his Marxist beliefs. The USA were a bunch of cowards twice in the twentieth century because they wanted money, power, the destruction of the British Empire and lots of science for nothing. They got it all. Even then they refused to fight until the Japanese invaded them and forced the issue. They then declared war on Japan. It was Germany, as a Japanese ally that declared war on the USA. If they had not, one must wonder what the US would have done. It is suggested that even if one disagree, one supports a friend. A great pity that the USA did not do that when Nasser broke his treaty, nationalised the Suez Canal and triggered events that continue to resonate. Those with smelly fingers should not wag them.

Trump postures like a latter-day Mussolini jutting out his jaw. He refused to serve in his countries military eight times. Now like a computer gamer directing a Hollywood Movie he sends his Warriors into action. Upwards of 30,000 people are dead because they believed Trump when he said "Help is on the way". It was not. Late, but better late than never there is action. The world needs a reset. Probably for the wrong reasons, Trump is possibly providing it. For that at least, we should be grateful.
