The tragic case of Henry Nowak has once more focused attention on two tier policing and justice. The so called progressives have spent years pushing a race based agenda and then screaming 'Racist' at anyone who called them out. Police handcuffing an innocent dying young man is the culmination of their campaign. They have succeeded in sewing division and subverting the law.
I recall during the BLM protest seeing a photo of a black family. They all wore T shirts. Dad's slogan "Black Lives Matter", Mum's "White Lives Matter". Child "All Lives Matter". It was refreshing and true. Now the activists condemn "All Lives Matter" as being racist. Why?
I do not dispute that Black people in the US were historically (and until recent times) treated very badly and their descendent are right to feel aggrieved. About one million white people were enslaved by Barbary pirates. Typically, the men were castrated and infanticide took care of unwanted slave pregnancies. Without those practices there would be millions of people, descendants of white slaves protesting "White Lives Matter".
Of course the truth is that All Lives Do Matter. Justice is always depicted blindfolded because that is the only worthwhile justice. Fair, equal and unprejudiced. That is also true of those who keep the peace and enforce the law. Activists have tested that compact almost to the point of destruction. It is surely time for all of us, irrespective of race, colour or creed to join together to re-establish the fundamental principle of English law, that all are equal.
Prejudice is a human characteristic. As a left handed, snow white haired dyslexic child I suffered plenty of it. I had left handedness beaten out of me and my hair darkened naturally. All that's left to remind me of the young me is dyslexia. My mother and sister were red heads, not easy in a prejudiced world. I mention this, because it's important to realise that contrary to the race baiters, prejudice has many faces, and race is only one of them. I lived and worked in West Africa in the 1980 and early 90s. The racial hatred between the different ethnic groups horrified me. In comparison, Britain was and is a model of harmony. That is a truth that the race baiting activists cannot accept.
The Henry Nowak case is the result of race based activism. Most of it has been malign and intended to create hatred and division. The 'Liberal' useful idiots have gleefully joined in. Apart from language, our greatest gift to the world is Anglo-Saxon Common law. It is pragmatic and sensible, which is why immigrants easily accept it. It is also one of our most successful exports. Race baiting, so called Liberal, activists have been doing their best to destroy our law. The answer to our problems is not to create new ones by introducing racially profiled responses. It is to return to our roots. Justice must be blind or it is not justice. Law enforcement must treat all equally, protecting the society it serves.
